‘Gising’ is a Filipino word for ‘wake up’.
This dish will surely wake you up as the highlight of the dish are the green chilis that are camouflaged with the green beans. The ground pork with green beans is cooked in coconut milk, so you get the combination of sweet, salty and chili. You can adjust the number of chilis depending on how hot you like the dish to be. I like toasting the ground pork a bit to add a bit of texture into it.
